V´EYE EYEWEAR COLLECTION
It all begins with an idea – 3D-printed eyewear for everyone, combined with innovative, consistently resource-efficient manufacturing from the local region.
In collaboration with master opticians and initiators Wolfgang Pupke and Ralf Müller, IDAID developed a unique eyewear collection. The goal was simple: as few components as possible and a distinctive, unmistakable character. True to the philosophy of less is more, each frame has been reduced to its essential elements – giving every pair its own unique charm.
In addition to its petroleum-free base material, one of the key advantages is that it can be processed using Multi Jet Fusion technology without generating any waste or offcuts. Everything that could break or wear out has been eliminated: no complex hinges that can bend, no screws that can loosen or snap, and no unnecessary pressure points. Every frame in the collection consists of just two parts, is manufactured using resource-efficient processes, and stands out for its exceptionally lightweight design.
