AIMis1 - A MODULAR DESIGN CONCEPT FOR ALL WORKPLACE REQUIREMENTS
One office chair model alone is usually not suitable to meet the wide-ranging and sometimes difficult to unite requirements of contemporary office environments. The office chair family AIMis1 for interstuhl is a good example of the successful interplay of form and function.
The great challenge for the design team was to incorporate all technical as well as aesthetic aspects from the outset.
The platform strategy of the AIM allows companies to take into account the needs of individual user groups, but at the same time to maintain a consistent form language. Individualization is feasible. The modular system allows individual teams, departments or companies to create chairs that have a uniform aesthetic and yet vary in their functions according to their needs.
